2014 SUCCESS STORIES - be inspired for your 2015 fundraising events! Well it's been a fantastic year of fundraising at GalaBid with over $10 million raised through our fundraising platform. We've seen some absolutely amazing fundraising events and creative ideas being put into place to achieve outstanding results so we've shared a few of these with you for your own inspiration when working on your 2015 fundraising events and campaigns:
The last month has been the busiest in the year for GalaBid with thousands of bids being placed and over $2 million being raised through our fundraising software. Along the way we've seen some fun and fantastic uses of our fundraising platform including a live donation challenge involving a big wheel, a group of CEO's and some interesting horse racing!
With GalaBid recently launched in the US we have been on a training roadshow to speak with our US clients about how to get the best out of events technology to increase fundraising revenue. Over the next few months we will share some insightful info that's come out of these sessions to help you with your own event planning.
When it comes to prizes it's always good to list a few on-topic items that are relevant in pop-culture and the media so GalaBid has been working hard to source an array of prizes from ticket packages to big sporting events to the signed memorabilia from the events. We're seeing a dramatic increase in the number of clients launching their silent auctions well before their live event begins. And for good reason. Organisers who involve guests in auctions, competitions and donation campaigns before the event, typically see more participation overall and ultimately more fundraising revenue. We've seen some truly amazing results, with some organisers actually hitting their target before the live event and others going on to double targets...
