With nearly 15 years' experience helping charities raise funds in key locations around the world, Dee is now leading the fundraising tech revolution in the UK's beautiful Dorset. Best buzz? Before you ask, Canadian ex-pat Angela is absolutely, definitely not American. She is super bright, very funny and has endless creativity to deliver the right solutions to our fundraising partners. She's in her element helping out on-site at an event and is also a mean shooter of hoops on the basketball court. Auction expert, tech legend and quite possibly the nicest man you'll ever meet. Andy leads our sales team with a positive energy that always turns challenges into bright ideas. You'll rarely see Andy without a smile which is some feat given he's a huge England cricket fan and has witnessed many a dismal Ashes tour. Best buzz: "Seeing how the GalaBid platform and our on-site team make a real difference to fundraising outcomes."
Ocean swimmer and shark dodger extraordinaire, Pete's passion for tech and great causes provided the inspiration for starting GalaBid in 2007. Best buzz: "Helping people get what they need to fund causes that they are passionate about."
Ed works with our partners to bring their digital fundraising auction ideas to life. Producing smart solutions and custom design, Ed ensures the GalaBid platform is always the perfect fit for each event.
Adam heads up our Australian development team. Turning complex code into brilliant ideas, Adam is constantly making sure our platform and digital services are giving clients a market leading user experience.
Born and raised in Sydney, Steph has spent the past several years living in various parts of the world. Back on Australian shores, Steph is a meticulous front-end developer with a passion for creating the best user experience. Cleiton, our Brazilian multimedia wunderkind, turns great ideas into stunning visuals. If you ask him nicely he'll share his favourite chimarrao* recipe with you. Best buzz: "Knowing my designs help to provide a better life for people in need." *Brazilian tea
Word spinner and content creator, Victoria is passionate about the power of story telling. From blog posts to social media, Victoria always looks to place our clients' stories and experiences at the heart of GalaBid's content. If she's not working hard to find the perfect words, you'll find her listening to obscure music and rock climbing (often at the same time). As GalaBid's Consignment Manager, Mariela is constantly scouring the world for outstanding fundraising items. Mariela has a keen eye for detail and exceptionally high-quality standards, which is why our consignment catalogues are packed with items that bidders can't wait to get their hands on. Best buzz: "Researching and putting together unreal experiences for GalaBid that go to auction and are purchased for great causes by generous bidders".
A talented FullStack Developer, Gilson is responsible for creating the GalaBid coding magic that delivers an amazing UI and UX, from first to last use. It's great to see my ideas for improving the GalaBid experience implemented, and delivering great results for our clients' causes".
Nina has spent years managing our fundraisers on-site, training volunteers, and delivering exceptional assistance to guests in person. She has now joined our team as an experienced Account Manager, dedicated to ensuring your fundraisers are the best they can be. She loves crosswords, bouldering, and sci-fi novels. Nina is known for her exceptional customer service skills and her ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships with her clients.
Cesar is a multi-talented graphic designer who has a wealth of experience in various areas of design. His diverse skillset allows him to tackle projects from different angles, creating unique and innovative solutions for his clients. Cesar loves dancing, volleyball, and exploring the world. He also enjoys playing the occasional game of poker and is a bit of a night owl.
GalaBid's dynamo across the Tasman, Cathy deploys her considerable experience, energy and enthusiasm to help New Zealand fundraisers maximise their revenue. Best Buzz: "I love introducing fundraisers to GalaBid and seeing them get excited about how our platform opens up a whole new world of opportunity to them. Seeing clients smash their targets, and hearing that their bidders also loved the platform is the ultimate reward."
Energetic and enthusiastic, Stuart applies his fundraising expertise to a wide range of events in Ireland. If he's not helping great causes raise money, you'll find Stuart on the soccer field coaching kids on the fine art of the offside rule. Best buzz: "I love the thrill of the auction, smashing targets and sharing the delight/relief with the event organiser when they achieve their goals."
Shaun grew up only a stone's throw away from Galabid's HQ on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and now calls Singapore home. Shaun is one of Asia's leading Auctioneers, hammering out the love at over 500 charity events across the region!
