No. Bidding runs in a mobile browser. Supporters open a link, register once with their name and phone number, and bid. Removing the download is one of the largest differences in participation between platforms.

Only partly, and the rules are specific. A winning bid is a quid pro quo contribution because the supporter receives an item in return, so the deductible portion is the amount paid above the item's fair market value. Where the payment exceeds $75, the IRS requires the organization to give the purchaser a written disclosure statement showing that amount. Your CPA should confirm what your receipts say.
The IRS requires a donor to hold written acknowledgment from your organization for any contribution of $250 or more in order to deduct it, obtained before they file. GalaBid supplies the transaction records; your organization issues the acknowledgment.
