How is the auction platform free in the UK?

On the Free plan there is no platform fee. When winners pay for their lots they are prompted to tip GalaBid. They can can change the tip to any amount including zero, and 10% of tips are shared back to your cause. If your winners do not tip, your campaign is not charged. If you would rather supporters never see a tip prompt, the Pro plan charges 4.9%, and a flat fee option is available for larger campaigns. Stripe's UK card fees apply on every plan and are passed through without markup.
