Stellar Results At 6 Silent Auctions On Saturday

2 children's charities, 2 schools, a hospital and a football game!!! August 31st was a big night for GalaBid and the results were outstanding.

"Gobsmacked!!" was the word one of the clients used this morning when we discussed the amount they raised. Their silent auction brought in more than 130k, a staggering 40% more than the target.

Another event over achieved their target by nearly 30%. Competition amongst bidders was evident, with more than 1200 bids placed, which no doubt was encouraged by GalaBid's clever outbid SMS notification feature.

One of the schools opened their silent auction before the night and reached their target before one guest set foot in the room. They went on to nearly double the amount raised by the end of the night.

In total GalaBid helped raised more than $300,000 in silent auction revenue with more than 4300 bids placed by 1335 bidders.

It was an epic week in preparation for the 9 events which took place between Thursday and Saturday night, but it was well worth every late night and early morning to see such happy clients and a fantastic amount raised.
