How is the auction platform free in Canada?

On the Free plan there is no platform fee. When winners pay for their items they see a suggested tip to GalaBid, which they can change to any amount including zero, and 10% of tips are shared back to your cause. If your winners do not tip, your campaign is not charged. If you would rather supporters never see a tip prompt, the Pro plan charges 4.9%, and a flat fee option is available for larger campaigns. Stripe's Canadian card fees, 2.9% + C$0.30 for domestic cards, apply on every plan and are passed through without markup.
