Yes. Add a Donation item type in Items. It sits on the same list as your other items, and you can add it to the menu so supporters find it easily.
GalaBid sends a payment receipt and gives you the supporter and transaction data. Whether you can issue an official donation receipt, and for how much, follows CRA rules: a gift with no advantage is fully receiptable; where the supporter receives something in return, the advantage must be 80% or less of the payment. GalaBid does not determine your receipting position.
No. Sports clubs, schools, parent councils and individuals raising funds all use GalaBid. Only registered charities and other qualified donees can issue official donation receipts.
Yes. Campaigns run in CAD, or any currency Stripe supports.
Yes, a quick registration with at minimum a name and verified email or mobile number. You choose what else to ask for.
No. GalaBid places no limit on the amount raised.
Every donation goes directly to your Stripe Canada account. You set the payout schedule to your bank in Stripe.
Lock it. Edit the item, open Advanced Options, set "Who can bid and buy" to Admin Only, and add a closed message if you like.
Yes. Create one or more Donation item types under Items > Create Item. There is no limit on the amount collected.
Yes. Create a donation item, then link it in the unsuccessful bidders message under Communication.
