November 2015 Success Stories: Get Results with Creative and Resourceful Prizes

Over the weekend we were fortunate enough to work with Taronga and Australia Zoo at their Spirit of the Sun Zoofari 2015 event and Steve Irwin Gala Dinner. By simply using resources that they had available to them both organisations were able to WOW their audiences with a range of ridiculously good prizes and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. It just goes to show that being creative and resourceful with prize sourcing will inspire people to give and get your guests digging deep.

Taronga Zoo for example offered a Roar and Snore live auction item where up to 30 people were given the opportunity to camp in safari style tents in the heart of Australia's most famous zoo. Waking up to spectacular views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge it's no wonder that this unique and exclusive prize sold not once, not twice but three times over.

Australia Zoo set out to impress offering up to four people the chance to join Steve Irwin's personally-trained team as they embark on their annual Australia Zoo Crocodile Research Trip. Not a prize for the faint-hearted this truly priceless experience made a huge difference to engagement and the final result.
