We See Hope is a charity that looks to provide education, rehabilitation and training to help African communities support their young orphaned and isolated members. "We see hope in the most surprising places. Like the slums, streets and disadvantaged rural communities of Southern and Eastern Africa. Here, many thousands of children are orphaned, isolated and dehumanized by devastating poverty, which threatens to rob them of their future."
We See Hope staged their Classic Car Rally in June 2017. The rally gave participants the opportunity to drive beautiful and rare classic cars such as Aston Martins and Ferraris. Drivers took their allocated car through Surrey's stunning countryside to the lovely county of Hampshire.
The charity held a gala dinner on the night before the rally. It included a live and silent auction along with a celebrity Q&A and allocation of the cars for the Rally. Galabid was on hand to help make sure the auction went smoothly. Members from our team roved the floor encouraging bids and stoking some healthy competition between guests!
With so many prestigious cars at hand, We See Hope made sure their auction prizes matched the cars for luxury and uniqueness. Some of the incredible prizes included: a dinner with Rugby World Cup Winner Lewis Moody MBE, a Bremont Solo watch and a holiday in amazing Malawi.
System flexibility: we loved that we are able to accommodate last minute prize additions like we were able to do for We See Hope. An incredible opportunity for work experience at the prestigious Serjeants' Inn was made available on the night of the Gala. We seamlessly included it in the evening's auction. â™¥ A smashed target: we were delighted that We See Hope doubled their fundraising target for the event. It was a testament to their hard work and dedication to make the event a success.
