Arnott's Foundation Gala Ball 2017

The much anticipated Arnott's Foundation Gala Ball is happening on Friday February 24. We're busy making sure everything is in order for the fundraisers that will be held on the night. Galabid is super proud of our involvement with this great event.  This is the Gala Ball's 9th year and like previous years the event will be looking to raise a significant amount of money for charity. The Foundation is looking to raise over $350,000 at the 2017 Gala Ball. Funds will help children's cancer charity, Camp Quality, support families affected by cancer We'll be actively involved in the evening's proceedings. Two Galabid representatives (be sure to say 'hi' to Liam and Cecilia!) will be on-site to make sure the auctions and raffle run smoothly. Liam and Cecilia will help with registration, show guests how the auction system works and assist volunteers with technical queries. Galabid is running three separate fundraisers at the event: a live auction, a silent auction and raffle. If you're not lucky enough to have a ticket for the sold-out Gala Ball you can still participate in the silent auction and raffle.

Raffle

This year the top prize is a fabulous VW Polo! Buying a ticket means you could also be in with a chance to win a Bose Home Entertainment System or a Royal Caribbean Cruise. The raffle will be drawn at 10pm on the night of the Ball and the top prize winner will be notified by 10:20pm (so not too much of a nervous wait for the results). You can buy your ticket right now. Follow the link and simply register using your mobile number. A passcode will be sent by SMS. You can then login and buy your ticket.

Silent Auction

The silent auction is where you can have some fun bidding against other participants for some amazing prizes. Like the raffle, you don't need to attend the event to join in. There are a whole host of great items to bid on. From glamping in Jervis Bay to a tandem skydive; you can find somewhere to relax or something to get the adrenaline pumping! Registration is simple. We'll send you a passcode to your mobile number then you can jump in and start bidding. You'll have an option to set your maximum bid amount. But don't worry - if bids exceed your maximum, we'll send you an SMS alert so you can opt to bid more if you want to.

Live Auction

This is the one where you need to have one of those much sought after Gala Ball tickets. The Live Auction will take place on the night and is only available to event guests. If you're heading to the Ball you can look forward to bidding on dinner with MKR winners, Tasia and Grace. Or how about the best of the Whitsunday's Experience, including a cruise and accommodation? We're expecting some fierce competition so make sure your wallets are up to the challenge! Finally.....

Donations

Event guests and non-attendees alike can all make a valuable donation direct to Camp Quality. Specific services and support can be bought with a simple click. Just $55 will buy a one hour Child Life Therapy session. $970 will enable a family to take a break from the day to day stresses of cancer and re-connect on a Family Camp.  We wish guests and supporters of the Arnott's Foundation Gala Ball a fabulous night and hope the event raises plenty of much-needed funds for Camp Quality
