2014 SUCCESS STORIES - be inspired for your 2015 fundraising events! Well it's been a fantastic year of fundraising at GalaBid with over $10 million raised through our fundraising platform. We've seen some absolutely amazing fundraising events and creative ideas being put into place to achieve outstanding results so we've shared a few of these with you for your own inspiration when working on your 2015 fundraising events and campaigns:
The GalaBid UK and Australian teams worked together with the Australian Rugby Foundation (ARF) to run an exciting silent auction in London last week. The launch was hosted by the Australian High Commission at the stunning Australia house on the Strand and included 160 guests, including many high profile Australian expatriates and rugby players.
Crowdcomms was delighted to be invited to help the International Special Events Society raise funds at their Christmas Party in Sydney last week. Guests bid on a range of items from Spa packages to personal chauffeurs using our online bidding system, GalaBid on their phones. In 2014 GalaBid has helped fundraisers to raise over $10 million in revenue and on average enables organisations to increase their silent auction revenue by 43%. GalaBid is also used to facilitate donations and raffles.
The annual Wincanton Combat Stress Race Day is held at the Wincanton race course in a remote corner of Somerset. Having previously managed the silent auction using paper, the committee were keen to look at ways to significantly increase the amount of money raised. They selected GalaBid as the cost effective, flexible solution to do just that.
